Strengths-Based Approach
We celebrate strengths! We collaborate with clients to harness their strengths, empowering them to navigate life’s complexities with confidence.
Mindfulness and Presence
Mindfulness is woven into our therapeutic fabric. By practicing mindfulness, being present in the moment, one can better manage stress, anxiety, and emotional reactivity.
Individualized Treatment
No two journeys are alike. We tailor treatment plans to meet each client’s unique needs, preferences, and goals.
Collaboration and Empowerment
We view therapy as a collaborative process. Clients are active participants in their healing journey. Our role is to guide, support, and empower.
Celebrating Resilience
Inspired by William Carlos Williams’ poem “The Red Wheelbarrow,” we find beauty in the ordinary. Just as the wheelbarrow holds significance in its simplicity, so do everyday moments in our lives. We celebrate resilience, small victories, and the courage it takes to face challenges.
Step 1: Click on "schedule appointment" below and select the initial consultation option. This is a 20-minute video or phone call (your choice). I’ll share about the practice and answer any questions you may have and you can share about your needs and how I might help/what you expect.
Step 2: If we decide to work together, sessions will occur on a secure, HIPAA-compliant SimplePractice video call. We’ll do an initial evaluation so you can help me understand your history and current needs.
Step 3: As therapy helps you, though sometimes it is hard at first as we are discussing the hard things, you will find yourself starting to enjoy life more and becoming more confident with you and your ability to cope.
Jessica is such an amazing therapist. She listens and validates with no judgment. She is very easy to talk to, I would recommend her to anyone seeking a therapist in Indiana.
Jessica has been very helpful. She listens to me but also doesn’t pressure me into changing my lifestyle. It’s a process and I really appreciate how nice and kind and how attentive she is.
Jessica HEARD me from the beginning and has been an INCREDIBLE HELP to me from the very first session. She's FANTASTIC. THANK YOU JESSICA ❤️
Jessica was such a professional and also so human, very nice and kind, she made it very comfortable for me to be open about my experiences, and she put some things into perspective for me and I truly appreciate her, looking forward to our next session!
I've only had two video sessions with Jessica Curd so far, but I already have confidence in her as a therapist. She is soft spoken and calm spoken which helps me feel safe. We explored a lot in just two sessions, and I have traced a lot of my current problems back to different times in my past. Jessica is so validating and does not discount anything that I've told her so far. In fact, she has helped me connect things together, and doesn't dismiss my issues with dissociation or dissociative experiences. She even bought a book about the subject that I told her about, and we're going to work through the book together. I would highly recommend Jessica Curd to anyone in Indiana who is looking for a therapist.
I cannot recommend Jessica enough. Jessica has always been available for our scheduled visits and she messages me often. She’s given me really great insight into how my trauma is affecting me now and ways to identify and cope with that. Love her!
Jessica has a beautiful, gentle spirit; she is highly professional while being completely relatable, a rare combination. Her thoughtful, sensitive, smart, intentional approach serves her clients well. Jessica approaches her work as a calling….she shows up as her authentic self in interactions with friends and clients alike. I cannot imagine a more qualified clinician or a kinder human to invite alongside for your journey. You will be known, valued and loved….. and that is likely to make all the difference!
I've had the pleasure of working with Jessica as a supervisee and colleague in the social work field since I was in undergraduate school in 2010. She has taught me so much throughout the years and is very knowledgeable and competent in the mental health field. Her passion for helping others is evident through her continued dedication to this field and her caring heart. She utilizes a strengths based approach and is client centered. She radiates positive energy and hope and is truly a role model and inspiration to many!
